Volunteer With Us

Make a Meaningful Difference—
One Moment at a Time

Volunteering with Lily Healthcare is an opportunity to bring comfort, connection, and support to patients and families when it matters most. Whether you have time to give, skills to share, or simply a compassionate presence — we welcome you.

Why It Matters

Why Volunteer with Lily

Some of the most meaningful moments in healthcare don't come from treatments — they come from human connection. As a volunteer, you have the opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life.

  • Provide companionship to patients
  • Support families during difficult times
  • Bring comfort, conversation, and presence
  • Be part of a team focused on dignity and care

Even small moments can have a lasting impact.

You are never expected to provide medical care.

Just compassion and presence. We provide guidance and support every step of the way.

Sitting with patients, providing conversation, reading aloud, or simply being present.

Family Support

Supporting families with non-medical needs during difficult care periods.

Administrative Assistance

Helping with office tasks, mailings, and organizational support.

Special Programs & Events

Assisting with recognition events, community outreach, and special initiatives.

Comfort & Resource Delivery

Delivering comfort items, resources, and care packages to patients and families.

Bereavement Support

Providing compassionate presence and support to families after loss.

Training & Support

You Will Never Be Placed Without Preparation

All volunteers receive orientation and ongoing support from our team. Our goal is to ensure you feel confident, supported, and comfortable in your role.

A visit, a conversation, or even quiet presence can reduce loneliness, bring comfort and peace, and support families during emotional times.

Your time matters more than you realize.

From Those We Serve

Words That Keep Us Going

A heartfelt thank you to volunteer Cathy, who gave our patient Pat a much-needed haircut — her first in far too long. Cathy was patient, gentle, and did an excellent job. It's exactly the kind of thoughtful, personal care that makes such a difference.
